miscellaneous:

I grew up drawing, being a part of occasional art shows in my home town, and ultimately developing a passion for nice visuals. While I have been making vector graphics for a while, I took a break from hand drawing for many years and only started getting back into it in 2024. I am no artist and have a lot to improve, but I will share some recent hand drawn pieces and some vector graphics.

Simple Illustration showing that a convex polyhedron can be projected into the plane without edges crossing.

Digital painting inspired by monkey I saw in Thailand.

Digital painting of a sloth, loosely inspired by the “Stoney Sloth”  from Call of Duty. Made during a “paint night” with friends.

Digital painting of an egg surrounded by grain.

Was made to practice accurately capturing color.

Showing how to open up the kernel of a spherical pentagon by convexifying interior quadrilaterals.

A visual for generalizing a bistellar flip in a tetrahedral mesh. In the left, a sequence of tetrahedra share an edge tb, dotted and red. In this flip, we seek to “flip” edge tb so that we create new tetrahedra that only have either t or b as a vertex.

Visualization for the set of points on the sphere, projected onto a specific cone, that lead to:

(1) a positively oriented spherical triangle with edge u1u2

(2) make the triangle arbitrarily sinkable when projected onto the cone.
